Inward journeys

Hypnotherapy Practice

The hypnotherapy I offer is similar to guided meditation. When you are in a meditative state, also called trance or hypnosis, it's easier to identify and experience issues you need to work through to improve any situation you find challenging in your life. This is because the critical mind, although active at all times, is relaxed in this state, allowing information that would normally be hidden to come to the surface.

After going through these Inward Journeys, as I like to call my hypnotherapy sessions, you will notice in the following days, weeks, and sometimes months, how life situations start changing for the better. That's the magic of hypnotherapy: the inner work pays off.

Before going into hypnosis we will talk thoroughly about the details of your current situation to understand together what issues to work with during the session.

I use various techniques that can help you go deeper, in a gentle way, to those places in your self that need new perspectives and understandings. I travel with you, just guiding when needed, so that you always feel safe, supported, and empowered.

At least three sessions are recommended to explore an issue deeply and get the most benefits from hypnotherapy. But even one session can help you to get clarity on a situation.

My practice is based in Muizenberg, Cape Town, in my home. It's a light, calm space close to the ocean.

You can find info about how to make an appointment here.

Sessions can be held in English or Spanish.

I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and have been living in Cape Town for the past decade. I work as a software developer but have always had a deep interest in spirituality, psychology, meditation, and the human potential for healing. Over the years, I have experienced many different therapies in order to better understand myself and the human experience.

My journey of personal healing brought me to study hypnotherapy at the South African Institute of Hypnotism. I am certified as a parts therapy facilitator CPTF and am in the process of getting my (non-medical) hypnotherapist certification CHT.

Hypnotherapy has been a powerful tool for my self-development. I'm grateful for the opportunity to offer this service to anyone who is interested so that they can experience the benefits it has to offer.

Notice: Currently Not Accepting Clients

Thank you for visiting my website. I am currently taking a break from practicing hypnotherapy and am not accepting new clients at this time. Thank you for your understanding, and I wish you all the best on your personal journey.

This article explains that there's strong evidence showing that the hypnotic trance is a separate neurophysiological state. Research is still needed to identify all the potential uses for this special state of our mind.
